Cheap flights to Pakistan
Compare every airline flying from the UK to Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi — direct PIA and one-stop Gulf routings.
Over 1.6 million British Pakistanis fly home every year, and we help thousands of them do it for less. Islamabad takes around 41% of all UK–Pakistan searches, Lahore 36% and Karachi the rest — and fares between the three can differ by £100 or more on the same dates, so it pays to compare all three arrival cities before you book.
Direct PIA flights (the only non-stop option) resumed in 2025 from Manchester and Heathrow. One-stop routings with Qatar Airways via Doha, Emirates via Dubai and Turkish Airlines via Istanbul are usually the cheapest, with off-peak returns from around £429. Book 6–10 weeks ahead and avoid the Eid and December peaks for the best prices.

Frequently asked
Flights to Pakistan — your questions answered
How much are flights to Pakistan from the UK?+
Off-peak economy returns start around £429–£499 one-stop with Gulf or Turkish carriers. Direct PIA flights command a premium. December, summer holidays and the two Eids are peak — book 6–10 weeks ahead for the best fares.
Which airlines fly to Pakistan from the UK?+
PIA (the only direct option), Qatar Airways via Doha, Emirates via Dubai, Etihad via Abu Dhabi, Turkish Airlines via Istanbul and Saudia via Jeddah. Between them they serve Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad and Sialkot.
Is it cheaper to fly to Islamabad, Lahore or Karachi?+
It varies week to week. Karachi is often slightly cheaper than Islamabad and Lahore because more carriers serve it, but sales flip that regularly — compare all three before booking, especially if family can meet you at either airport.
When is the cheapest time to fly to Pakistan?+
Late January to early March and September to mid-November are usually cheapest. Avoid the two weeks around each Eid and mid-December to early January, when fares can double.
Do I need a visa for Pakistan?+
British passport holders need a visa; Pakistan's online e-Visa is straightforward and NICOP/POC card holders don't need one. Our visa team can prepare and submit your application — see Visa Services.
